Here's what he has to say about it;
I thought I'd drop a mix I put together over the last few months. It's hell-a-long and there is much more than just hip hop on here. A few of my favorite retro jazz and funk records, classic golden era joints, some of the best uk product to have come out in recent times, and the kitchen sink. The result is quite sour, but i suggest you sit on this for minute.

Pete Rock VS DJ Premier

For everybody that is in Japan on the second of may, go check out the Manhattan Records 30th anniversary. The will have both Pete Rock and DJ Premier in the building, and they will do an actual DJ Battle. That is gonna be off the hook for shure!

Fashawn Talks about Ode to Illmatic

Since Fashawn was compared to Nas a lot when his album dropped (not that weird considering the similarities on both album covers). He came up with the idea to do an Ode to Illmatic mixtape. Robbie over at Unkut always provides us with in depth interviews. He's well respected in the HipHop scene, and even got DooWop to do a mixtape for him. It's been out for a couple of weeks now, but since I haven't posted a mixtape in a long time, I decided to post it now.
